We are now hiring for a Warehouse Operator II in Picking for 2nd Shift! Under direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Operator II will accurately transfer product, both physically and logically, into and/or out of warehouse locations, move product throughout the facility with powered industrial equipment and perform inventory counts as required.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe, effective operation, and servicing of mechanical, motorized, and or electrical equipment in the facilities work environment, including but not limited to forklifts', dollies', hand trucks, etc
Demonstrate, lead, and assist in work from a variety of source documents to verify quantities, parts, destinations and timing prior to material movement
Responsible for a sound knowledge of logistic and supply chain, material management, and distribution/transportation processes and policies to meet the business requirements
Ensure information, transactions, and adjustments are accurately entered into the ERP systems.
Demonstrate, lead, and assist in the uses of machines for business needs
Manage sorting and placement of materials or items on racks, shelves, pallets or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, product code and related characteristics; tend to be more more complex or in multiple cells or operations and fully trained
Ability to performance general maintenance related to material handling equipment such as battery charging, battery exchange, battery maintenance (water, checklist, etc.
) and general warehouse cleanup.
Education Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Relevant Work Experience
Basic mathematical skills
Ability to read/write and interpret documents
Warehouse experience of 1-3 years
