Driver Manager

Duties: - Manage a team of drivers and oversee their daily activities - Coordinate and assign routes for drivers to ensure timely deliveries - Monitor driver performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies - Collaborate with other departments to optimize delivery processes - Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during deliveries - Maintain accurate records of driver schedules, routes, and deliveries - Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary Experience: - Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry - Knowledge of route driving and courier operations - Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading procedures - Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual transmission vehicles - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and leadership abilities - Proficient computer skills for record keeping and scheduling purposes Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
