*Job Summary:*
The Night Road Service Dispatcher is responsible for providing efficient dispatching and support services to drivers and customers during night shifts.
This role involves monitoring and coordinating emergency roadside assistance, vehicle breakdowns, and other service requests.
The Night Road Service Dispatcher ensures timely responses to calls, accurate communication with drivers, and effective resolution of issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
*Responsibilities:*
* *Dispatching Services:*
* Receive and prioritize incoming service requests from drivers and customers.
* Dispatch service vehicles to locations based on urgency, proximity, and availability.
* Coordinate with field personnel to ensure prompt response and resolution of issues.
* *Communication:*
* Maintain clear and effective communication channels with drivers and service technicians.
* Provide accurate information regarding service requests, locations, and customer needs.
* Relay instructions, updates, and directions to drivers and technicians efficiently.
* *Problem Resolution:*
* Assess situations and troubleshoot issues to determine appropriate solutions.
* Coordinate alternative arrangements or services in cases where immediate assistance is unavailable.
* Follow up on service calls to ensure satisfactory resolution and customer satisfaction.
* *Documentation and Reporting:*
* Document all service requests, actions taken, and resolutions in a detailed manner.
* Generate reports on service activities, response times, and performance metrics.
* Maintain accurate records of customer information, service history, and incident reports.
* *Customer Service:*
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
* Maintain a courteous and helpful demeanor when interacting with customers and drivers.
* Ensure that customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded whenever possible.
* *Team Collaboration:*
* Collaborate with other dispatchers, supervisors, and team members to optimize service delivery processes.
* Share relevant information, updates, and best practices with colleagues to enhance overall efficiency and performance.
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in dispatching, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
* Prior experience in dispatching, customer service, or emergency response roles is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in using dispatching software, GPS systems, and communication tools.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm and focused under pressure.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
