Staff Accountant

Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Perform month-end and year-end close processes - Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts - Prepare journal entries and assist with the preparation of financial reports - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions - Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of employee compensation - Collaborate with internal teams to support financial analysis and decision-making processes Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel - Experience with double-entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Note: Public accounting experience is a plus.
